The ABEL story
In the early days of Diag-Nose.io, we remember crouching over the bench cutting strips of filter paper with scissors, hoping each piece was close enough in size and hoping for a breakthrough as we struggled to guide them into the nose.
Some samples worked, some didn’t.
It was slow, frustrating, and far from precise, so we set out to find a better way.
The ABEL Microsampler® was born from that frustration: a microsampling device that makes nasal fluid collection simple and consistent. It replaces handmade variability with reproducibility, giving scientists reliable data to uncover molecular signatures of disease.
From those first hand-cut samples to a refined scientific instrument, ABEL embodies our belief that precision starts at the point of collection, and that’s where discovery begins.
ABOUT
Quality sample
Quality nasal fluid with minimal contamination is compatible with most omics workflows
Controlled volume
Collects precise volumes* of nasal fluid for quantitative analysis of biomarkers
High site-specificity
Expandable probe with fixed insertion depth ensures site specific sampling
Minimally Invasive
Shallow insertion and passive collection minimises discomfort
The ABEL Microsampler® is FDA-listed and ARTG-registered as a Class I medical device. Contact us for availability in your region.
